About his life, "Buttercup" was very much loved and all family members were so excited about his coming and very saddened by the loss.  He died of Surfactant B Protein Deficiency, for which there is no cure, other than a lung transplant, which he was too fragile to undergo. We are very grateful for the care and all the love he received.  But most of all, we are extremely to have been a part of his life and share his company.  He was and is so loved and so missed.
